Swimwear fabrics and related knowledge

There is no doubt that almost everyone has a swimwear. It's known to all that a swimwear or clothes is made of fabric and garment accessories. The vavious fabric can be classified into silk, cotton, polyester etc. While the garment accessories can be sorted into button, hooks, elastic tape, thread and so on.  However, do you really know the swimwear you are wearing? 1. Swimwear fabric classification

DuPont Lycra, nylon and polyester are the material most commonly used for swimwear. Any thread such as jacquard and other special materials are inseparable from the three types elastic materials above. If designers want to choose metal, acrylic, shells and other inelastic materials for swimwear, what they should concern is customers' using experience. When fabric and accessory match properly, accessory may help fabric to develop larger effect.

In the past, the elastic used at the edges of swimwear is usually the rubber elastic tape or the traditional elastic webbing. However, the elastic broken before the day when swimwear should get retired. Therefore, now more and more designers choose TPU elastic tape rather than rubber tape. Because TPU elastic tape is much more eco-friendly and durable than rubber tape, which is no hurt on human skin.
